Source code licence
Commercial, closed source. Source access on written request.
This statement applies to Gitea Integration for Jira, published by WEB rješenja d.o.o. It is effective 2026-09-14 and is the page referenced by the Source code license agreement field of the app's Atlassian Marketplace listing.
The licence
What a customer licenses
- The app is commercial software, licensed and not sold. Purchasing a subscription grants the right to use the app on the licensed Atlassian site for the paid term. It does not transfer ownership, copyright, or any right to the source code.
- The end user terms are the Atlassian Marketplace standard end user agreement. This page does not replace or amend it; it only states our position on source code.
- The app is distributed as an Atlassian Forge app. Customers install it from the Marketplace and it runs on Atlassian's infrastructure: no binary, container image, or source archive is delivered to the customer as part of normal use.
- The source code is held in a private repository and is not published. Reverse engineering, decompilation, and redistribution are permitted only to the extent applicable law allows regardless of contract.
Source access
When we will discuss source access
Some customers need more than a running app: a security audit that cannot be satisfied by documentation, an internal policy on third-party code, or continuity planning if we were to stop publishing the app. We will consider a source access request in those cases.
- Who may ask: a named contact at an organisation with an active paid subscription for this app.
- How: a written request to gitea-jira@wsagency.io, stating the purpose and the people who would read the code.
- On what terms: a separate written agreement, including a non-disclosure agreement. Access is a read-only snapshot for the stated purpose — audit, escrow, or continuity — and carries no right to modify, operate, sublicense, or redistribute the code or any derivative work.
- Our discretion: access is granted case by case at our discretion and is not part of the subscription. We may decline, and we may charge for the work involved. Declining a request is not a defect and does not affect the subscription.
What we do publish, always
Behaviour, storage and data flow are documented rather than implied: see the documentation, the privacy policy and the data retention statement. The app has no vendor backend and no third-party data processor, which answers most questions that would otherwise require reading code.
Third-party code
Open source components
The app uses open source libraries, each under its own licence. Those licences are unaffected by this statement: nothing here restricts a right you hold under an open source licence, and nothing here grants you rights in our code because we use open source. A list of components and their licences is available on request to the address above.
